Mode of action |
|
|
|
AMYGDALIN / VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile) causes the strengthening of body's system which has to search out and to destroy foreign invaders. It is known as a cytostatica. |
|

Special note |
|
It is necessary to establish a high blood therapeutic level before AMYGDALIN / VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile) therapy is started. |

Application and dosage |

Prophylaxis of metastases: |
|
|
|
at least 1 AMYGDALIN/VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile) Tablet daily or as per prescription of a physician. |

Primary malignancy with no evidence of metastases nor associated lymph node involvement nor acute inflammatory reaction |

|
|
1. -20th day: 3 gram AMYGDALIN / VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile) once daily intravenously or as per prescription of a physician |

|
|
|
Metastases to adjacent structures, evidence of mild inflammation and minimal lymph gland involvements |

Injections are reduced to a booster-injection once weekly to once monthly, the AMYGDALIN / VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile) level is maintained with oral AMYGDALIN / VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile) Tablets. |

Doses over 9 gram AMYGDALIN /VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile) are best introduced by slow intravenous drip, using a dextrose 5% in water or a 1/6 molar lactate solution, 250 cc When using the intravenous drip, it is recommended not to mix other substances in with the AMYGDALIN / VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile). The injections may be given 5 or 6 days a week. |

The high dosage is essential to obtain with certainty the activity in the serum. This also applies for the prophylaxis of metastases in patients who are free of tumors at the time. |
|
|
|
Side effects |
|
|
|
It may happen that stomach trouble is caused in case of oral application (tablets/capsules). There may arise secondary effects such as fever, dizziness, itching, edema, vertigoes and malaise during the first stage of the AMYGDALIN / VITAMIN B-17 (Laetrile) therapy. |
|
|
|
Forms of packing |
|

Vials are packed in boxes of 10 (20ml 3gr Amygdalin each vial) |

Tablets are packed in bottles of 100 750TW (500 mg Amygdalin each tablet) |
|
Packing can be changed to special requirements. |
